Florists in Ontario gathered at the Ontario Flowers Growers in Mississauga, Ont., on Tuesday and Wednesday to prepare the mugs and spent Thursday and Friday delivering them to hospitals, charities and organizations around the Greater Toronto Area.

In Halifax, over 500 arrangements were made and the Make Someone Smile Week was covered by CTV news. The event was featured on CTV’s Good Morning Canada.

The event also took place in 17 other Canadian cities and 5,000 bouquets were delivered across the country.

To prepare for the week, Teleflora donated more than 47,000 keepsake “Be Happy Mugs” to member florists who worked with local wholesalers and growers to create cheerful floral arrangements in the mugs.
