Design Notes: “Add a few candles at the base for a dynamic table piece or a cluster of various sized vases and sphere for a buffet setting.”  Photography by Terry Robertson of Bochsler Photo Imaging Contents of this design provided by John G. Hard Goods: • 1 large floral foam sphere (8”) • 3 water-drop vase ornaments (19 cm) • 75 decorative floral pins (9 cm) • silver angle hair • 1 roll aluminum 12-gauge wire • 1 ‘Panache’ flared vase 27x60 cm • 3’ clear cellophane Floral Products: • 100 carnations Construction: • Saturate floral foam sphere with water. • Cover sphere with carnations to the point where it rests on the rim of the vase. • Fill vase with cellophane and water. • Sit sphere on vase. • Insert decorative pins. • Make decorative hangers with aluminum wire. • Insert aluminum wire into floral foam sphere and hang ornaments. • Lay a fine halo of angle hair over form. |
