 A new Calathea with unique leaf markings has seen the
light of day. The elegant looking plant produces oval leaves with
feathered markings in shades of light and dark green and pink.
The undersides of the leaves and the leaf stems (petioles) are a deep reddish brown – making them highly decorative. In addition, the plant is compact and has ‘hard’ leaves, making it a lovely, but tough, tropical beauty. The plant is long lasting, comes in a 13-cm pot with a stick-pin and is available all year round. (Flower Council of Holland)
