Are holidays still relevant to the retail florist industry?
Written by Amanda Ryder
With Easter now behind you and Administrative Professionals Week just around the corner, we thought now would be a good time to talk about floral holidays. With the exception of Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas, are the smaller holidays still relevant to the floral industry and retail florists? Do you promote occasions like Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day or Easter in your shop or focus on selling flowers for every day? Why or why not?

Our flower shop, based in Toronto, truly relies on any holidays. Although the spike on lesser known holidays is marginal, it still is a spike and worth the additional advertising.
